Butterfly Habitat
As part of a donation to the Botanical Center, we are building a butterfly habitat within our greenhouse. We plan to house local butterflies, along with Nectar plants inside the habitat. The habitat is scheduled to be done by Spring 2011.
Children's Garden
Years of planning and replanning, the Children's Garden is planned to be built on newly cleared land near the Botanical Center. In hopes of continuing to beautify Rock Island, we will be adding educational and entertaining pieces to the Children's Garden including our own Mississippi River with headwaters and a delta.
