The Quad City Botanical Center is a tax-exempt 501 c 3 non-profit organization, dedicated to bringing people and plants together in fun and meaningful way. Your financial support is essential to our future. There are many ways to contribute, and we are so thankful for your kindness! Visit

The Botanical Center is your living plant museum meant to be used, enjoyed, shared and heralded. We encourage you to visit often; your gate fee represents 10% of our earned annual income and allows us to care for and improve our collections.

Become a Member

The Quad City Botanical Center Membership program is designed to activate your interest in our organization. Benefits include 12 months of free admission to our grounds and gardens, reciprocity with over 200 gardens across the nation and throughout the world, discounts on programs, special events, travel club, and in the gift shop, and a subscription to our quarterly newsletter and garden news email updates. General participation in our membership program represents X% of our annual income and allows us to provide educational programs to 1000’s of student every spring!

Make a purchase in the gift shop

Nestled just off the lobby of the Quad City Botanical Center, the Window Box Gift Shop is the place to shop for unique garden gifts and hand crafted jewelry, soaps, candles, and more. Our selection of merchandise changes with the seasons. Children’s items, gifts, books, unique gardening tools, plants, and logo gear are available year round. Stop in and see what’s new. All proceeds from retail sales help us to purchase supplies for our school aged educational programs.

Book an event

Celebrating life changing events is one of many ways we serve the Quad City community. Our beautiful gardens offer the perfect setting for weddings, anniversary parties, birthdays, business meetings, class reunions and more. Follow this link to view the various options and price points available for hosting your next event. Booking fees represent 35% of our earned annual income, and help us improve and expand our collections, maintain our website, and offer unique and outstanding special events.

Honor life

The Quad City Botanical Center believes in honoring life, celebrating milestones, and paying tribute to those who have been lost to us. Contributions are accepted in namesake(Memorials) for the care and maintenance of our gardens and grounds. Engraved garden pavers and limestone sitting benches are enduring witness to a memory. All gifts may be designated to a certain purpose or project such as the Garden Train Railway or the Butterfly Habitat.

Purchase a ticket to a special event or a seat on a motor coach adventure

Attending a special event at the Quad City Botanical Center is a joyous way to support the important aim of our organization. Gathering together with friends and family to celebrate the harvest, art in the garden, and the benefit of chocolate or traveling with other garden members to unique destinations outside of the Quad Cities, everything is better shared with friends! X% of our earned annual revenue is generated by ticket sales and allows us to maintain tropical temperatures for our collections throughout the deep mid-west winters.

Volunteer

Did you know that, nationwide, every volunteer hour spent serving the community is worth an estimated $20.85? The Quad City Botanical Center could not support all of our services without the support and care of volunteers. Last calendar year over 10,000 volunteer hours were recorded and spent bringing people and plants together in fun and meaningful ways. Follow this link to find out how you can get involved!

Give In-Kind

The gift of professional services, supplies and materials help bridge the gap where strict budget constraints prevail. Annual Appeal Fund Drive

Each year the Quad City Botanical Center presents a fall and spring Annual appeal fund drive to help cover the cost of operating the facility. Contributions collected are applied to support the mission, from utility payments to payroll and provide a percentage of our annual revenue.  We have made  contibuting to our Annual appeal easy click here to donate now, use you paypal account.   

Birdies for Charity

Each spring the Quad City Botanical Center is honored to be one of the many non-profits included in the Birdies for Charity fund drive. A fund-raising campaign associated with the John Deere Classic, people from throughout the QCA pledge money based on the total number of Birdies shot during the tournament. One hundred percent and more of the funds raised are directed to the non-profit chosen by the donor; Birdies for Charity matches the funds by a pre-determined percentage.

Capital Campaign

The Botanical Center is near to launching a community wide capital campaign for the design and construction of our future Children’s Garden.
