KinderNature-Terrific Tulips

Terrific Tulips! A special storytime held in partnership with Quad City Botanical Center KinderNature programs. Stories, songs, books, nature education. See the tropical gardens afterwards. Free admission, each child receives a free book. Ages 2-5, sponsored by the Hug-A-Book Memorial of the Rock Island Public Library Foundation.

July 12th- Beautiful Blooms​​

​     Explore the many different colors of flowers in our gardens!. Enjoy hands on activities in our Sun Garden and outside, including a crafty flower take-home project. 

​August 9th- Water Wonders

 ​    Water, Water Everywhere! Come see how water in important to the planet and create your own cloud. Enjoy making a creative craft and leave with an icy treat.

Sunday Family Funday-April Showers & Pixie Flowers

​Sunday, April 2nd, 1pm-3pm

April's Sunday Family Funday is here! Join us for fun, crafts and activities. This month, we will be learning about all about rain and how it effects our environment and the plant life around us. As always, there will be plenty of take-home crafts and goodies. Drop in anytime between 1 and 3 to join in on the fun. Cost is covered with general admission to the QCBC or with membership.

 Pixies & Pirates
Sunday, April 23rd, 11am-2pm

One of our family favorites, Pixies and Pirates is back! This is a day of fun, activities and games, crafts, refreshments and more! As always, we will be joined by real life Pixies and Pirates. New this year, write a letter to a pixie and pirate and it just might be returned!
 -Tickets are being sold for morning and afternoon sessions
 - 250 tickets available for each.  
  -Morning session is from 10am-12pm
 -Afternoon session is from 12:30-2:30pm
**Physical tickets will not be sent to guests, names will be on a reservation list at the front door on the day of the event.
**Cost is $13 for youth (2-16) and $10 for adults until 4/16. After 4/16 the prices becomes $15 for all reservations so save your spot soon!
