You are invited to join the Quad City Botanical Center for the 2^nd annual Java in the Jungle Coffee & Tea EXPO.

This, one of kind event, will expose you to the wonderful world of coffee. If you are a coffee Geek or just a beginner, the EXPO offers something for you. From guided tours of the Quad City Botanical Center’s Tropical Sun Garden to a coffee tasting lead by the Java gurus from Starbucks. You can learn to talk the talk and order the dark nectar like a pro.

Area Coffee & Teahouses will be set up throughout the Center offering samples and coupons.

Take a tour of the garden and learn how coffee is grown, and see the coffee and tea plants that call the Quad City Botanical Center home.

Every hour there will be different presentations on the subject.

This event is free with admission to the Botanical Center and free for members of the Quad City Botanical Center.

1:00 Starbucks Coffee Talk (our monthly coffee tasting session)

2:00 “Leaves and Beans Tour” (led by the Quad City Botanical Center’s education staff)

3:00 “Grounds for Your Garden”, using recycled coffee grounds in your garden.  Presented by Dr. Harriet Phelps (Master Gardener)

Music for the event will be provided by Dave Maxwell of River Music Experience
