TEACHERS

Provide your students with the opportunity to visit our gardens with an educator for a hands-on nature adventure. Topics extend beyond plants and include important insects like pollinators, conservation and environmental issues and ecosystems. Download the brochure or find complete program descriptions and details.

Activities at the Botanical Center take about 30 minutes. Tours are $4 per student per program and $1 per student per additional program. One free adult admission is provided for every 10 students and additional adult guests are $3 per person.

Programs are designed by age to support your curriculum and are available in every season. Ask about scholarships to fund your visit.

SCOUTS

Girl Scouts can earn many badges at the Quad City Botanical Center. Scouts can learn about the different types of habitat needs for plants and ecosystems and much more. Special events include a variety of topics and costs vary with event. Look for program dates on the event calendar.

Boy Scout programs are scheduled upon request and several topics are available to earn badges.

OUTREACH

Let the gardens come to your classroom, afterschool program, club or youth organization. We welcome the opportunity to share our love of plants and preservation of our natural resources.

A 30-miunte program for up to 30 children is $40 per presentation and includes all supplies.
