The Avant Gardener - Sue Herrera
Sue Herrera is a Quad City native who combines her passion for plants with her love for the Botanical Center. She is a regular volunteer who donates many hours each week to keeping our gardens looking their best.
You’ll find her creative containers, terrariums, and works of art for sale in our lobby. New plants added weekly. Each creation is unique, and all of the containers are repurposed from items found throughout her adventures in the Quad Cities. Some of her pieces include vintage, rustic finds that have come from estate sales, flea markets and thrift shops. Sue’s plants are exclusive to the Quad City Botanical Center.
