PLANNED GIVING

Leave a legacy that continues to bloom

Generous community and conservation-minded friends have remembered us in their wills and trusts and enabled us to create an endowment that will bring people and plants together and fun and meaningful ways for generations to come.

The endowment was established in 2014 after an initial gift from Patricia and John "Red" McCormack. This gift of seed money prompted the Board of Directors to pursue an endowment, giving the Botanical Center something to draw on in times of need and as a way that patrons can make a meaningful contribution as they see fit. The endowed fund provides the Quad City Botanical Center flexibility in giving and an opportunity to grow. You can give directly to the endowment through the Quad Cities Community Foundation.

There are many ways to give during or after your lifetime. Even if you wish to remain anonymous, please share your intentions with us so we may properly express our gratitude.

Consider a gift in your will, through life insurance, retirement plan assets, stock or a charitable gift annuity.

To ask how the Botanical Center will be a responsible steward of your gift, contact Executive Director Ryan Wille at 309.794.0991 ext. 206.
“The Quad City Botanical Center provides a wonderful, riverfront venue for students of all ages to learn about the plant world that enriches and sustains us. Its outreach to area schools and hands-on education opportunities for growing plants are added factors influencing me to direct gifts in my parents’ memory to the Quad City Botanical Center Foundation Endowment. This supports the excellent programs and services of the Botanical Center, and I encourage others to lend their support to it as well.”
