We offer a range of adult education tours that cater to groups of ten or more at the Quad City Botanical Center. Ask about options for a catered lunch, box lunch or dinner.

TROPICAL PARADISE TOUR

Immerse yourself in a relaxing, tropical escape any time of the year while visiting the stunning gardens at the Quad City Botanical Center. The tropical Sun Garden boasts one of the nation’s most uniquely designed conservatories and its highlight is an awe-inspiring 14-foot waterfall!
 
Discover an island garden filled with jasmine, orchids, bromeliads, banana plants, coconut and chocolate trees, fish and jungle-sized palm trees. In all four seasons you can tour our gorgeous outdoor gardens with colorful perennials, ornamental grasses and texture-filled conifers. All group tours must be scheduled in advance and require a minimum of 10 people. Tour is $9 per guest. 

CHOCOLATE TOUR

Take a closer look at the sweet lure of chocolate. We'll examine the history of chocolate, which began in Central America, and our 3,000-year old addiction to the decadent treat. Groups will enjoy 60 minutes of a seated presentation, guided walking tour and sampling of coffee, tea and chocolate. Tour is $15 per guest. 

ADULT SELF-GUIDED TOUR

Self-guided tours are perfect for family reunions or clubs! All group tours must be scheduled in advance and require a minimum of 10 people. Tour is $7 per guest.
